Dr Linus Chang has been a consultant gastroenterologist since 2010. He has special interests in high quality surveillance colonoscopy, monitoring of gastric intestinal metaplasia to detect early stomach cancer and Hepatitis B. He has special expertise in endoscopic ultrasound which is used to clarify intestinal subepithelial lesions, and pancreaticobiliary disease.
He undertook his gastroenterology training at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and Townsville. He had further subspecialty training in endoscopic ultrasound and its role in the diagnosis and staging of upper gastrointestinal cancer at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth in 2009 with further periods of observation and hands-on training at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, USA and St Luc Hospital in Montreal, Canada.
Dr Chang was formerly staff specialist at the Mater Hospital Brisbane and lecturer with the University of Queensland. He was colonoscopy trainer for ten years to gastroenterology trainees at the Mater Hospital Brisbane. He is now solely in private practice and performs procedures at Mater Private South Brisbane, Mater Private Springfield, Westside Private in Taringa and Sunnybank Private Hospital.
Dr Chang consults at the Salmon Building on Stanley Street, South Brisbane and at Suite 21, Sunnybank Private Hospital Specialist Consulting Suites, 245 McCullough St, Sunnybank.
His practice offers a choice of direct access or consultation led endoscopy.

Dr Angela Richards is a highly-skilled ophthalmic surgeon with expertise in cataract surgery, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. She completed a Master of Science in Medicine (Ophthalmic Science) from the University of Sydney School of Medicine.
Having completed RANZCO ophthalmology training in Queensland, Dr. Richards moved to the United Kingdom for two years of further training. She accepted a prestigious fellowship in the field of Medical Retina at London’s Moorfields Eye Hospital. There she gained additional experience in advanced cataract surgery and was trained by ophthalmologists who are widely considered to be world leaders in the diagnosis, medical management and research of retinal diseases such as macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. During her tenure, she gained extensive surgical experience in managing the complexities of cataract surgery in patients with retinal conditions. She was awarded the Topham Scholarship and the RANZCO Travelling Scholarship for her dedication to furthering her skills through the pursuit of overseas advanced training.
